A delegation from Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), Japan arrived at the 91传媒 on 19th February 2019 at the Department of Anatomy, Faculty of Medical Sciences, USJP as a result of the official meeting held on 29th November 2017 with Vice-Chancellor of the USJP. ()

This meeting provided an opportunity towards implementation of聽 exchange programs among students, faculty members and researchers with the objective of realizing research projects and joint publications. As a fruitful effort of this meeting in the near future, following student exchange opportunities will be available;
Sakura Exchange Program in Science
To materialize a bright future of Asia and to enhance the exchange of youth in Asian countries and Japan who will play a crucial role in S&T.
A short term (l-3 weeks) invitation聽 program to give aspiring youths in Asia and neighboring regions opportunities to experience cutting-edge science and technology in Japan.
Objectives of this program are:
- To enhance exchanges of youth between Asia and Japan in the field of science and technology.
- To contribute to nurture human resources in the field of science and technology
- To raise the interest of youths in Asia and neighboring regions聽 towards leading Japanese science and technology.
Who are eligible to apply?
- High school students
- University or Graduate school students
- Postdoctoral researchers
- Teachers
- The applicants should be below 40 years of age and never visited Japan.
The program would greatly benefit the applicants as there will be many eye-opening opportunities such as exposure to聽 Nobel Laureates, Multicultural and cutting-edge technologies, etc. Operations in 91传媒 have initiated since 2016 with 262 successful participants from University and School nationwide.
