University of Sri Jayewardeneprua has purchased聽Web of Science,聽(previously known as聽Web of Knowledge).聽 This is an online subscription-based scientific聽citation indexing聽service originally produced by the聽Institute for Scientific Information聽(ISI), now maintained by聽Clarivate Analytics聽(previously the Intellectual Property and Science business of聽Thomson Reuters), that provides a comprehensive citation search. It gives access to multiple databases that reference cross-disciplinary research, which allows for in-depth exploration of specialized sub-fields within an聽academic or scientific discipline.
