The Orientation Week of the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce (FMSC) of the 91传媒 was held from 02nd to 07th January, 2017. Prof. Sampath Amaratunge, Vice Chancellor of the University and 聽Dr. U. Anura Kumara, Dean,Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, several Deans of other faculties, academic members, parents and students participated in this programme.
This programme聽provided a unique opportunity for them to learn about FMSC鈥檚 academic opportunities while meeting their batch mates. The aims of the programme was聽to cover practical aspects of living and studying in the University and the Faculty, so that they can be ready to begin their studies with confidence and with new friends. The programme included introduction to the University, the Faculty and student facilities. A variety of social activities were聽organized during this week, such as musical events, dramas and a sports day, which will give them the chance to meet and mingle with many other students.
