Inaugural session of the Orientation programme, for the new intake of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences 鈥� 2017 was held on 27th February at Bandaranayaka hall. Orientation programme has been organised to conduct until 5th of March, and听was consisting varieties of academic events for听new students. This years orientation programme is organised听by the coordination of Mr. Vijekoon Subasinghe, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, with the assistance of the Orientation committee of FHSS 2017.
For the Inauguration ceremony Prof. Sampath Amaratunge, Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. D. P. S. Chandrakumara, Dean, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Prof. Sudantha Liyanage, Dean Faculty of Applied Sciences, Dr. S. A. A. M. Subasinghe, Dean Faculty of Engineering, Registrar, Mr.听Britto K. Gnanasiri, Acting Librarian, Mr. C. S. Ranasinghe, Heads of each Departments and Academics of the faculty were听participated.
