The orientation programme of the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce of the 91΄«Γ½ commenced on the 30th October, 2017 with an Inauguration Ceremony. The event was held at the Bandaranayake Hall and was graced by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sampath Amaratunge and the Dean of the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, Dr. U. Anura Kumara and other members of the academic and non-academic staff. Inauguration ceremony was followed by a special speech delivered by Prof. Saman Chandra Ranasignhe (Professor in the Department of Languages, Cultural Studies and Performing Arts in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences) on the theme; βThe Art of Livingβ.
Subsequent to the inauguration day, a week long orientation programme has been organized to be held from 31st October to 4th November.
