Mr.Rumesh Liyanage who is reading Ph.D Degree at Faculty of Graduate Studies, 91传媒 have been awarded a GOLD MEDAL听by the SLAYS Open Forum 2017 held on听28th February and 1st of march 2017 at Hilton residencies, Colombo 听under the theme of 鈥�Research for Impact: March of the 91传媒n Young Scientist鈥� supervised by 听Prof. S.B. Nawarathne (Principle supervisor), Prof. K.K.D.S.ranaweera and Dr. Indira Wickramasighe.
This award is granted by 91传媒 Academy of Young Scientists (SLAYS) and National Science Foundation 91传媒 (NSF) in collaboration with Coordinating Secretariat for Science, Technology and Innovation (COSTI). There were around 150听scientists and ten post graduate research studies (Only听MPhil’s听and PhDs) were selected by foreign and local expert panel 听for the gold medal.听
