Calling for applications for the聽Year 2019
Applications are invited from those who are suitable to follow the聽Certificate course in teaching in higher education (CTHE), which will be conducted by the staff development center of the University of Sri Jayawardenepura (SDU/USJP).
This course is specially designed for the university academic staff. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission to fulfill the requirement to apply for confirmation after completion of the probationary period of lecturers in the university system. This course is also designed to play an essential part of a career development programme in the university system. The course is scheduled to be commenced at the end of March 2019.

Learning methods: face-to-face sessions, group activities, E-learning, and self-learning etc.
Learning locations: In-class training at SDC/USJP, Personality, Skills and Leadership Development Training programme at Belihuloya
Course fees: Rs.40,000/= (Course fee has to be paid before the commencement of the course, to the A/C No. 097-1001-6-2315454 at People’s Bank, Gangodawila and the receipt has to be submitted)
Method of application: Application fee of Rs. 500/= has to be paid to the above account and submit the receipt along with the application.
Self-made applications including your full bio-data have to reach the Director, Staff Development Centre, the University of Sri Jayawardenepura on or before 29th March 2019 by Registered post.
