At the Faculty Board聽of the held yesterday (12th March 2019) with the聽chairmanship of Prof. Sampath Amaratunge, Vice Chancellor of the 91传媒, Prof. Sudantha Liyanage was elected as the new Dean of the Faculty of Technology for the next three years.
Prof. Liyanage was the dean of the Faculty of Applied聽Sciences and was the acting dean of the Faculty of Technology.聽Prof. Liyanage obtained his B.Sc. Special degree in Chemistry at the 91传媒 and obtained聽his Ph.D. in Chemistry, at University of Wales, Cardiff, UK. He was also a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Wales, Cardiff and University of Ibaraki, Japan. He was the Chairman of the Royal Society of Chemistry 91传媒 Section during 2013- 2014.
