Prof. Ranil De Silva, Director of World Class University Grant Project-USJP, Director, Interdisciplinary Center for Innovation in Biotechnology & Neuroscience visited to USA聽from 9th-20th November 2016 to participate 聽the 46th Annual Meeting of Society for Neuroscience (SfN) held in San Diego, USA;聽from 12th to 16th November 2016.
Prof. ranil De Silva Received EURO 5,000 鈧 from the first Global Advocacy Seed Grant Awards for 2017 at the Governing Council, International Brain Research Organization (IBRO), Global Advocacy Committee Meeting in order to identify priorities and to help bridging the gaps in knowledge, investment and resources in the field of brain research.
He has presented their original research 聽on 鈥淏anking the Brain and Blood: A 91传媒n Emerging Era of Collaborative Research; what East can offer the West鈥. The event has joined by more than 32,000 colleagues from more than 80 countries at the world鈥檚 largest marketplace of ideas and tools for global neuroscience () and also represented 91传媒 at the Governing Council (GC) of International Brain Research Organization (IBRO) 鈥 the apex body as Member of the GC; IBRO represents the interests of more than 75,000 neuroscientists around the globe.
Guest Lectures were delivered by Prof. Ranil De Silva with the aim of strengthening bilateral multidisciplinary research collaboration聽at:Northern Kentucky University NKU, USA on 10th November 2016 on the topic of “Banking the Brain and Blood: A 91传媒n Emerging Era for multidisciplinary collaborative Research”. The event was organized an outcome of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on 10thJune 2015 between USJP, and NKU, USA on 10thJune 2015 opening up new avenues strengthening international research collaboration between both universities.
