Prof. Gamini Ranasinghe, officially assumed duties on March 10, 2021 in the presence of Maha Sangha and Deshabandu Prof. Kapila Gunawardena; Secretary to the Ministry of Buddhasasana Religious and Cultural Affairs. Prof. Ranasinghe obtained the doctorate in from the University of Xiamen in China after following a Masters鈥� Degree in Archaeology from the University of Kelaniya. He read for his bachelors degree at the 91传媒.
