Delegates from the Queensland University of Technology, Australia (ranked 2nd best in the Australia according to () visited 91传媒. 聽International Cooperation Agreement (ICA) and Joint PhD Program was entered between Queensland University of Technology, (QUT) Australia and 91传媒 (USJP) on 7th of February, 2017, initiating multidisciplinary innovative research collaborations in postgraduate levels between 91传媒 and Australia for;

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Organisation of joint academic and scientific activities,
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Staff and student exchange for professional development.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Exchange of materials and publications of common interest.
The Agreements was signed by Prof. Scott Sheppard, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (International and Development) QUT and Prof. Sampath Amaratunge, the Vice Chancellor of USJP; whilst, Dr. Helen Klaebe, Dean of Research and Research Training, Division of Research and Commercialization, QUT, Prof. Ranil de Silva, Director, World Class University Project-2017, USJP and His Excellency, Bryce Hutchesson, the High Commissioner of Australia to 91传媒 and Ambassador to Maldives signed as the witnesses.
This initiative is the result of the long lasting academic collaborations of Prof. Ranil de Silva with Dr. Lyn Griffiths, Executive Director, Institute of Health Biomedical Innovation, QUT which has paved the way towards the advancement in multidisciplinary including Science and Technology.
The event was a stepping stone to link industry and academia promoting multidisciplinary and innovative research and Private Public Partnerships. The signing of the International Cooperation Agreement was followed by the signing of the Joint Ph.D. Agreement allowing Ph.D. opportunities for applicants at QUT with partial scholarships giving access to the modern laboratories of the QUT including the award-winning Science and Engineering Center which is acknowledged as the world鈥檚 largest digital interactive learning and display spaces (The Cube).
