‘Econ-Insight 2019’ is a seminar series on Economics organized by the Business Economics Students’ Association (BIZCON) of the for the 2019 G.C.E. (A/L) candidates. This was organized with the aim of enhancing the knowledge on the subject among those candidates and also to fulfill social responsibility of the undergraduates of the department.
The first seminar of the series was successfully held on the 22nd January 2019 at the Bandaranayake Hall of the 91´«Ã½. Mr. Ananda Rathnayake, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Business Economics conducted the seminar on two subject areas i.e., Money and Banking and National Accounting. More than 1700 students from Colombo district schools participated in this event.
