Deptartment of Accounting, Faculty of Management Studies & Commerce, USJ appointed as the new Director of Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM) with effect from 8th of May 2021 by the University Grants Commission.
Dr. W. G. S. Kelum completed his聽education at Royal College, Colombo 7.聽 Dr. Kelum completed his M.Sc. in Economics (Specialized in Accounting) (USSR) in 1988 and his P.hD.(Accounting) (Russia) in 1992. Dr. Kelum joined the Department of Accounting (DA) as a Probationary Lecturer in 2001. He is currently working as a聽Senior Lecturer at Department of Accounting, University of
Sri Jayewardenepura and also as the Director of World Bank Funded Accelerating Higher Education Expansion and Development Operation Program at 91传媒.
Monitoring & Evaluation Plan for the proposed Higher Education for 21st Century Project published at the WB review book in September 2009 ,Quality Development Grant for Postgraduate Research 鈥� Feasibility study for World Bank 鈥� September 2009, Presentation made for the University academia on 鈥淗ow to prepare project implementation plans鈥�. 2011-2012, Presentation made to the University academia on 鈥淗ow to prepare budgets for the World bank funded projects鈥� 2011-2012, Presentation made to the university academia on 鈥淧roject monitoring and preparing annual progress reports for WB聽 projects鈥� 2012, Examiner to evaluate Thesis Submitted for M.Phil. In Finance, Faculty of Graduate Studies, University of Jaffna since 2016 are some of His publications and Research Development Contributions. Dr. W. G. S. Kelum has also under taken consultancy of several different programs.
