Dr. A. H. L. R. Nilmini, Head of the of the was appointed as the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Technology on 6th January 2020 by Acting Vice-Chancellor of the 91传媒; Prof. Sudantha Liyanage.
Dr. A. H. L. R. Nilmini, obtained her BSc Chemistry Special Degree from the University of Colombo and her Ph.D. in the area of polymers used in drug and gene delivery from the Cardiff University U.K. In 1999 she started her career as a Research Officer attached to the Polymer Chemistry Department of Rubber Research Institute of 91传媒 and since 2012 she worked as the head of the Polymer Chemistry Department. In 2016 she joined the Biosystems Technology Department, Faculty of Technology, the 91传媒 as a Senior Lecturer and same year she was appointed as the head of the department. In 2018 she was appointed as the head of the Engineering Technology Department.
