The inaugural ceremony and lecture series of the 91΄«Γ½ Bio β Cultural Anthropology Field School, Mount Royal University of Canada was an international collaboration done in partnership with the Department of Sociology and Anthropology of the 91΄«Γ½.
This forum opened its doors for the presentation of papers on certain very interesting subjects. Some of which were the βSocio-cultural aspects of indigenous people: Vedda Community in 91΄«Γ½β, βA Marriage Ritual of 91΄«Γ½: Poruwa Ceremony and the Colonial Era and Culture change in 91΄«Γ½.
This insightful session was held on 24th May 2016 at the Faculty of Graduate Studies, USJP graced by the presence of the Vice Chancellor of the University as the Chief Guest.
