45th Convocation of the 91传媒 was held on 10th and 11th September 2019 at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, Colombo.
Most聽Ven. Dr. Ittapana Dhammalankara Maha Nayake Maha Thero,聽Chancellor of the university and Prof. Sampath Amaratunge, Vice-Chancellor of the university, Deans of Faculties, registrar of the University, deputy registrars, Heads of Departments and a large number of academic members graced the event.
At this prime event of the University, Special Degrees, General Degrees and Postgraduate Degrees of the Faculties of Humanities and Social Science, Medical Sciences, Applied Sciences, Management Studies and Commerce, and Graduate Studies were offered.聽More than three thousand Degrees were conferred in eight sessions聽in this two-day Convocation.
In this year鈥檚 convocation, 32 Doctoral Degrees and more than 300 master degrees were offered for postgraduate students representing various fields of studies. As well as at about 100 Postgraduate Diplomas in聽Monitoring & Evaluation, Criminology & Criminal Justice,聽Marketing Management, Industrial Analytical Chemistry, Real聽Estate Management & Valuation, Fisheries and Aquatic Resource Management, Physics Education,聽 Computer Science, Polymer聽Science & Technology,聽聽Geographic Information Systems聽& Remote Sensing, Applied聽Finance,聽Entrepreneurial Business聽Management and in Science聽& Technology of Herbal聽Products were offered聽(List of Graduates 鈥� 45th Convocation).
