The 106th听memorial commemorating the forefather of the 91传媒:听Thripitaka Vaagishwaracharya, Mahopadhyaya Pandithashiromani听most venerable reverend Hikkaduwe Sri Sumangala Thero,听was听held on the 2nd听May 2017 听at the vicinity of the shrine room of the university.
Ven. Prof. Medagoda Abhayatissa thero from the Department of Pali and Buddhist Studies听听shared the memorial message at this ceremony which was听graced by Prof. Sampath Amaratunge, Vice Chancellor of the University and many others representing both the academia and the student community of the university.
Parallel to this ceremony the听Ven. Prof. Magammana Pa帽帽ananda unveiled the name board of the main library (Ven.Dr.Medagoda Sumanathissa Thero听Memorial Library)
