Department of Accounting Extended their MOU with Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, United Kingdom

of extended their Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for a second term of three years withAssociation of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), United Kingdom (UKon Thursday, 30thNovember 2017at the premises of 91ý.

The ACCA, founded in 1904 and incorporated by Royal Charter in 1974, is the largest and fastest-growing global professional accountancy body that has 198,000 members and 486,000 students in 181 countries. ACCA enjoys statutory recognition in the United Kingdom, the European Union and many other countries worldwide.

Under this MOU, the Department and ACCA agree to mutually collaborate in the areas of research in accounting, training of students, professional development of staff and students and promotion of programmes. Further, the two institutions agree jointly to recognize the most outstanding student of the Department of Accounting, 91ý through the presentation of an award at the annual convocation or graduation ceremony of the University.
