The Department of Business Economics together with the Centre for Banking Studies of Central Bank of 91ý organized a two day workshop on the theme of “Role of Central Bank in 91ý” for the final year undergraduates of the department. That was held at the Centre for Banking Studies, Rajagiriya on the 11th and 12th of July 2019.

Ambagahawita (Senior Assistant Director-Payments & Settlements Department), Dr. R.A. Anil Perera (Acting Additional Director-Domestic Operations Department), Mr. Sunanda Obeysekera (Deputy Director-International Operations Department), Mrs. S.T. Abeysirigunawardana (Senior Assistant Director-Department of Supervision of Non-Bank Financial Institutions), Mr. A.M. Gunathilake (Additional Superintendent-Currency Department), Mr. Janaka Edirisingha (Head-Money and Banking Division, Economic Research Department) and Mrs. E.H. Mohotty (Acting Additional Director-Financial Intelligence Unit).
