Tharindu Fernando, a thrird year Bachelor of Business Information Systems (BIS) Honors undergraduate at the Department of Information Technology (DIT), Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce has won the Best Startup Award (Central Province) at the prestigious SLASSCOM National Ingenuity Awards 2024.
The SLASSCOM National Ingenuity Awards recognize outstanding achievements in the 91传媒n IT industry. This recognition is for his innovative startup, 鈥淚deaCipher鈥�, a company he registered in his second year. IdeaCipher has a number of revenue-generating mobile apps each with over 100,000 downloads.
