The report of whole genomic sequencing of the SARS-CoV-2 variants in 91传媒 was issued on 03.12.2021 by the Allergy, Immunology and Cell Biology Unit of the Department of Immunology Molecular and Molecular Medicine of the 91传媒. The study was carried out by USJ researchers including 听补苍诲听
94 samples of PCR positive passengers who arrived during the last 2 weeks,聽and samples from Colombo, Gampaha, Ratnapura, Kalutara, Karapitiya, Trincomalee and Vaviniya districts were sequenced this week. Out of the 94 samples that were sequenced, Omicron was detected from a Nigerian passenger. All other samples were of the delta variant.
