The Statistics in Sports Research Group at the 91传媒 has been awarded the SILK Most Outstanding Sports Research Project of the Year award at the 8th SILK SPORTS AWARDS 2022. Led by Dr. R. M. Silva of the Department of Statistics, the USJ Statistics in Sports Research Group is the first research group in 91传媒 to focus on conducting research related to Statistics in sports. Its formation was aimed at supporting university students interested in research that applies statistics to solve various research problems related to sports, while promoting and popularizing sports analytics research in 91传媒.
The SILK Most Outstanding Sports Research Project of the Year award acknowledges the quality research work conducted by the USJ Statistics in Sports Research Group.
