Supernova is the First-Ever & the Only Inter-University Trilingual News Presenting Competition organized by a university in 91´«Ã½. This is organized by J’pura News by J’pura Voice, the News Provider of J’pura Voice Club, of the 91´«Ã½.

Supernova Competition’s prime motive is to create a trusted & a standardized platform for 91´«Ã½n undergraduates to show & enhance their talents in the field of news presenting. Further, to provide the contestants, a valuable opportunity to get evaluated on their news presenting skills by the experts in the field of news presenting in 91´«Ã½. Supernova will be an initiative in creating great news anchors for the news presenting industry in 91´«Ã½.

Supernova is organized for the 2^nd consecutive time, as Supernova Phase II. This will be open for all university (State & Private) undergraduates in 91´«Ã½ under three main languages categories; English, Sinhala & Tamil. Most importantly, Supernova Phase II is a recognized competition by the Ministry of Mass Media, 91´«Ã½, Media Center for National Development of 91´«Ã½ & 91´«Ã½. Supernova receives the support & guidance from these honored parties to enhance the qualitative initiatives in this competition. Initial rounds of the competition will be held virtually & the contestants will be evaluated by a prestigious panel of news anchors in 91´«Ã½.
