Professor Sampath Amaratunge, the Vice Chancellor of the 91传媒 met Mr. Philip Zhang Xi, Director of International Programs and Services, Honghe University, China and his colleague, Dr. Hao Weimin, a professor who has been working and living in 91传媒 for over twenty years employed by Honghe University as coordinator in 91传媒, on June 8th, 2016, where Mr. Philip Zhang expressed the interest in a partnership with the 91传媒 in the fields of academic and student-teacher exchange, especially in terms of a joint venture program of the Chinese language.
Mr. Philip Zhang expressed the willingness of the Honghe University to offer help to the university in the syllabi and curriculum design and also would like to send native Chinese teachers or volunteer teachers here.Professor Sampath Amaratunge gave a brief introduction to his university, and expressed his willingness to do exchange programs with Honghe University. During the meeting, Mr. Pradeep Ratnayake, Head of the Department of Languages, Cultural Studies and Performing Arts expressed enthusiasm for cultural exchange programs alongside academic exchange.
