සංදේශාවලි කවිනළුව යනු ගිරා, පරෙවි, කෝකිල, සැළලිහිණි සහ හංස යන කෝට්ටේ යුගයේ (1412-1597) ලියැවුණු සංදේශ කාව්ය පදනම් කරගෙන සැකසූ ප්රසංගයකි. මෙය ශ්රී ජයවර්ධනපුර විශ්වවිද්යාලයේ මානව ශාස්ත්ර හා සමාජීය විද්යා පීඨ සංස්කෘතික කමිටුව විසින් සංවිධානය කරන ලද්දකි. මෙම ප්රසංගය 2019 අප්රේල් මස 02 වන දින පස්වරු 5 සිට බණ්ඩාරනායක අනුස්මරණ ජාත්යන්තර සම්මන්ත්රණ ශාලාවේදී සාර්ථකව පවත්වන ලදී.
Sandeshawali Kawinaluwa (සන්දෙශාවලි කවිනළුව) a musical allure created based on Gira (ගිරා), Parewi (පරෙවි), Kokila (කෝකිල), Salalihini (සැළලිහිණි), and Hansa (හංස) sandesa poetries written in the Kotte Period (1412–1597) was staged on 2nd April 2019 at the BMICH celebrating the 60th Aniversary of the 91ý. This was organized by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
Ven. Dr. Ittapana Dhammalankara Thero; Chancellor of the 91ý, Honorable President Maithripala Sirisena, Prof. Sampath Amaratunge; Vice-Chancellor of the 91ý, former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, Minister Bandula Gunawardhana, Former Minister S. B. Dissanayake and many other respected invitees graced this musical evening. In addition, Deans of the Faculties, Heads of Departments, Alumni Members, Academic and Non-Academic members were among the participants in the event.
