Part 2: Job Summary听

鈭� In the context of the FMSC’s multipurpose building complex, the interior design must align with the听 faculty’s educational objectives and accommodate the diverse needs of its stakeholders. From听 classrooms and lecture halls to administrative offices and communal spaces, each area requires careful听 consideration to ensure optimal functionality and user satisfaction听

Part 3: Main Duties听

The responsibilities of the interior designer will include, but are not limited to:听

1. Collaborating with faculty members and stakeholders to understand their needs, preferences, and听 requirements for the multipurpose building complex.听
2. Developing innovative and functional interior design concepts that enhance the learning environment,听 promote collaboration, and reflect the FMSC’s identity and values.听
3. Conducting site visits and assessments to evaluate existing facilities and identify opportunities for听 improvement and enhancement.听
4. Managing the procurement process, including sourcing furniture, fixtures, equipment, and materials,听 negotiating contracts and pricing, and coordinating delivery and installation.听
5. Providing design expertise and guidance to faculty members to help them finalize furniture听 requirements and make informed decisions regarding interior furnishings and finishes. 6. Working closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that the听 interior design aligns with the overall building design and construction schedule.听
6. Monitoring project progress, identifying and addressing any design-related issues or challenges, and听 ensuring that the interior spaces meet quality standards and specifications.听
7. Communicating regularly with faculty members, administrators, and project stakeholders to keep them听 informed of project developments, solicit feedback, and address any concerns or questions.听

By providing the interior designer with a dedicated workspace within the faculty premises and clearly听 defining their responsibilities, the FMSC can ensure that the designer has the resources and support听 needed to successfully execute their role and contribute to the successful completion of the听 multipurpose building complex project.

Part 4: Qualification听

鈭� Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch.) or Bachelor of Design (B. Des), or Bachelor of Engineering (B.听 Eng) or BSc. in Interior Design听

Part 5: Experience / Knowledge听

鈭� One-year experience in interior design projects听

Part 6: Skills听

鈭� Project Management Skills听

鈭� Communication Skills听

Part 7: Working Conditions听

鈭� Fixed term contract 鈥� Initially four months (renewable).听

鈭� 5 days per week, including weekends.听

鈭� Should be prepared to work for long hours.听

Part 8: Salary听

鈭� Rs. 75,000/- per month (all inclusive).听
