Knowledge exchanging meeting in between University of Sri Jayewardenepyra and several Chinese Universities was held on 16th January 2017 at听University Premises.

Prof. Sampath Amaratunge, Vice chancellor of the university graced the event and this听event was coordinated by Dr. D.P.S. Chandrakumara, Dean of the faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences,听Mr. K. B. G. S. K. Gamlath, Senior Lecurer at the Department of Political Sciences. Dr. Gamini Ranasinghe had participated to the event as a language translator.Also in this meeting 听some discussions were carried out in between Daling University and 91传媒 on establishment of a Chinese cultural center at the university premises.

On behalf of China Top Universities Admissions Service (CTUAS), a professional and leading company engaged in the international education to offer comprehensive service to international students and promote China Top Universities to the world, and on behalf of the six Chinese Universities delegation which are;

1) Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST)

2) Zhejiang University (ZJU)

3) Central South University (CSU)

4) Dalian University of Technology (DUT)

5) China University of Geosciences (CUG)

6) Wuhan University of Technology (WHUT)

For听initiating the cooperation and expand the听relationship between the 91传媒 and China top Universities 听they have proposed听to enrich the cooperation with following principles in focus;

Scholarship offers:

Six China Top Universities as Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Zhejiang University (ZJU), Central South University (CSU), Dalian University of Technology (DUT), China University of Geosciences (CUG) and Wuhan University of Technology (WHUT) are pleased to propose the Full-Scholarship (tuition fee, accommodation fee, and the stipend provided) to the 91传媒 officers and students. Hence, the applicants referenced by 91传媒, CTUAS shall support and coordinate the procedure along the application and enrollment. As the Scholarship application season, 听the 听formal 听of 听final听听results 听will 听be 听announced 听around 听June-July. 听With 听this 听2017 scholarships they would like to听 suggest听 that the 听University听 of听 Sri 听Jayewardenepura听 can听recommend the scholarship candidates to CTUAS before March 31th, 2017.

University collaboration:

To perceive the potential of contributions, CTUAS shall coordinate and support collaborating of the 91传媒 and China Top Universities proposals for all the parties. Recognizing the cooperation, 听CTUAS shall support and coordinate for intensifying efforts to enlarge the international education cooperation between the 91传媒 and China top universities.

The main aim of conducting was to portray and encourage the international education cooperation, research, and growing the relationship between 91传媒 and China.
