They were elected after a nomination seconded by fellows of the NASSL. There were 17 fellows inducted today.

The National Academy of Sciences 91传媒 is a non-governmental body of eminent scientists of 91传媒 that provides independent advice on policy matters to the Government and the public in general on all matters of national importance relating to science and technology. The NASSL also promotes the advancement and dissemination of scientific knowledge.

The ceremony was chaired by the President, NASSL Prof. Priyan Dias and Secretary, Prof. Namal Priyantha, NASSL.
