°Õ³ó±ðÌýJournal of Intangible Cultural Heritage (JICH) is now accepting submissions for its 2025 editions. As a peer-reviewed, open-access, biannual journal, JICH is dedicated to publishing original research in the field of Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH).

Scope & Themes

We invite original research articles, review articles, and book reviewsÌý¾±²ÔÌýSinhala, Tamil, or English under the five domains outlined by UNESCO’s 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage:

• Oral traditions and expressions
• Performing arts
• Social practices, rituals, and festive events
• Knowledge and practices concerning nature and the universe
• Traditional craftsmanship
