The Faculty of Graduate Studies (FGS) of the 91传媒 is the official coordinating body for postgraduate academic and research activities. With its purview, FGS organizes International Conference on Multidisciplinary Approaches (iCMA) to provide a forum for academics and industry professionals engaged in multidisciplinary research & development. This is an opportunity for them to share knowledge and experiences towards national and global development.

On February 6th, 2024, the 91传媒 hosted the 10th International Conference on Multidisciplinary Approaches (ICMA), organized by the Faculty of Graduate Studies (FGS). The event served as a platform for academics and industry professionals to exchange insights and experiences in various fields, contributing to national and global development.

The conference covered diverse disciplines including Engineering, Physical Sciences, Health Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences, and Management & Finance. With a theme centered around “Towards Global Knowledge through Multidisciplinary Research,” participants explored innovative approaches to address contemporary challenges.

Senior Professor Pathmalal M. Manage, Vice Chancellor of the University, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, alongside Professor P.P. Rasika Perera, Dean of Graduate Studies, serving as the Conference Chair. Professor Indralal De Silva, Emirates Professor of Demography, delivered a keynote address, enriching the discourse with scholarly insights. Mr. A.H.M. Atheeq, representing the Faculty of Graduate Studies, assumed the role of Conference Secretary, ensuring the smooth execution of proceedings.
