The 91��ý and the Chinese Institute of International Education, China (CIIE) signed an agreement for academic cooperation to promote teaching, learning, and research for Chinese students on 16^th December 2022 at the Vice Chancellor’s Office.

Under this agreement, a special intake of Chinese students will be enrolled in the Master of Business Economics (MBEc) program offered by the Department of Business Economics.

The event was graced with the participation of the Snr. Prof. Sudantha Liyanage (Vice-chancellor – USJ), Prof. P.D. Nimal (Dean – Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce), Prof. Saman Yapa (Chairman – Board of Study in Business Studies), Dr. Janaka Fernando (Head – Department of Business Economics; Coordinator – Master of Business Economics (MBEc) Programme), Dr. Sandamali Galdolage (Director – International Affairs, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce), Dr. P. P. Lalanie (Senior Lecturer – Department of Business Economics) and Mr. Thisara Samarasinghe (Head of Operations – CIIE). Mr. Weilin Chen (Managing Director – CIIE), virtually joined the event from China.
