°Őłó±đĚýJournal of Intangible Cultural Heritage (JICH) is now accepting submissions for its 2025 editions. As a peer-reviewed, open-access, biannual journal, JICH is dedicated to publishing original research in the field of Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH).

Scope & Themes

We invite original research articles, review articles, and book reviewsĚýľ±˛ÔĚýSinhala, Tamil, or English under the five domains outlined by UNESCO’s 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage:

• Oral traditions and expressions
• Performing arts
• Social practices, rituals, and festive events
• Knowledge and practices concerning nature and the universe
• Traditional craftsmanship

The “Annual Research Conference (ARC) 2024”, organized by the Faculty of Medical Sciences, 91´«Ă˝ will be held on 25th October 2024.

Abstracts can now be submitted to be presented as oral presentations or posters. In addition, the “3MT challenge” calls for abstracts from postgraduate students to pitch their research as a 3 minute presentation.
