Background of the program

The program was designed in partnership with the Erasmus+ DS&AI consortium, a group of 15 European and Asian universities with the mission of bringing European-standard advanced education to Asia.

Target Group

• Those who need academic qualifications in Computer Science/Statistics/Mathematics.
• Those who are planning to start a career or are already employed as Data Scientists.

Minimum Admission Requirements

• Bachelor鈥檚 Degree including 30 credits in Computer Science, Statistics or Mathematics or a related discipline from a university or an equivalent institution recognized by the University Grants Commission.

OR

• A qualification of SLQF level 6 or above in the relevant areas of Computer Science, Statistics or Mathematics or a related discipline from a university or an equivalent institution recognized by the University Grants Commission /91传媒.

Duration:聽Two (02) years
Course Fee:聽Rs. 475,000/-

Commencement:聽January, 2023

In addition, a library fee, an examination fee, and a registration fee should be payable at the time of registration.

Lectures and practical classes will be conducted during weekends.
(Saturday: 8 am 鈥� 5 pm, Sunday: 8 am 鈥� 1pm).

3. Enter your details and click on Submit.
4. You will see 鈥淵ou have successfully submitted your Application鈥� on a new web page.聽Download听迟丑别听application & Bank pay slip聽from this page.
   You can pay the application fee online via聽Visa or Master Card聽in LKR from this page by clicking the icon聽听.
5. You can pay the application fee of聽Rs. 1,000/-聽online only at this stage. If not, you have to visit a People鈥檚 bank physically and pay the application fee of聽Rs. 1,000/-to account number聽053010006855

• If the bank officer informed you that this account number is incorrect, please ask the officer to contact People鈥檚 bank, Gangodawila branch.
• People鈥檚 bank account contains 15 digits normally. But this account contains only 12 digits. So, you聽cannot use聽Cash Deposit Machines or bank applications to pay.

6. Login again聽by repeating the above 1^st聽& 2^nd聽steps again.
7. Click on the聽鈥淣别虫迟鈥�聽Button at the bottom. (If necessary, you are allowed to edit your details)
8. You need to聽upload聽the following documents

9. Send the downloaded application (from the 4th step above) to聽sachintha@sjp.ac.lk聽with scanned copies of the Degree Certificate, Transcript, Birth Certificate, Passport size Colour photograph, and payment receipt.
   Please write 鈥淒ata Science & AI 鈥� 2023鈥� in the subject field of the email.
10. Post the printed application (from the 4th step above) along with the certified documents included in the above 8th step through a registered post to the聽Assistant Registrar, Faculty of Graduate Studies, 91传媒, Gangodawila, Nugegoda.
    Write 鈥淒ata Science & AI 鈥� 2023鈥� on the top left-hand corner of the envelope.
