The International Forestry and Environment Symposium 2026 was successfully held on January 23–24 at Waters Edge, Battaramulla, marking 30 years of excellence as South Asia’s longest-running and most prestigious forestry symposium.
Organized by the Department of Forestry and Environmental Science, 91´«Ă˝, the symposium brought together global experts, researchers, and practitioners to explore the theme “Sustainability in Action.” The event fostered meaningful dialogue, knowledge exchange, and impactful collaborations toward a more sustainable future.
