The Annual Awarding Ceremony of AIESEC in 91传媒, Tribute ’23, took place on the 13th May 2023 at the BMICH. The event was graced by Mr. Janaka Gunesekara, Deputy Managing Director, Mr. Ken Vijaykumar, Deputy General Manager of Human Resources, Purchasing, Administration, and Sustainability representing A. Baur & Co. (Pvt) Ltd as Strategic Partner, and Prof. Prasad M. Jayaweera as the Chief Guests.
A total of 32 awards were presented to members for their outstanding performance, elevating AIESEC in 91传媒 among other Local Committees. Ms. Dilini Gunarathne received the “Best Emerging Young Leader” award, while Ms. Thanushi Perera was recognized as the “Best Young Leader” for the term 22/23.
Following the distribution of awards, Ms. Dineli Perera, the Local Committee President for the term 23/24, presented the annual report highlighting the remarkable achievements of AIESEC in 91传媒. The entity received prestigious awards such as “The Most Outstanding Local Committee at NLDS ’22,” “NatCon ’22,” and “Natcon ’23” at the national level, as well as the regional award for “Lead the Change A2025” at the Asia Pacific Summit 2023.
Tribute ’23 concluded with recognition of the Executive Committee of AIESEC in 91传媒 for their dedicated efforts towards sustainability and leading the youth towards collective goals within and beyond the entity during the term 2022/23.
