SUMMARY:International Conference on Innovation and Emerging Technologies 2021 (ICIET 2021)
DESCRIPTION:The Faculty of Technology (FOT) at the 91´«Ă˝ (USJ) is delighted  to announce that their First International Conference on Innovation and Emerging Technologies 2021 (ICIET 2021) will be held virtually on November 25-26\, 2021 under the theme “Technological transformation towards a smart future.” This will be the first technology-based conference organized by USJ\, providing an excellent platform for students and researchers from Science\, Technology and Engineering fields to showcase their research and innovations in front of a broader scientific community. \nThe ICIET 2021 features highly reputed internationally renowned speakers who will share and discuss new developments and technological advancements that will impact the future of their fields of study. The opening keynote speaker for the ICIET 2021 is Dr. Mahesha Ranasoma\, the CEO of Global Rubber Industries (GRI)\, 91´«Ă˝. The other two keynote speakers of the conference are Professor Keitaro Naruse\, Robot Engineering Laboratory\, School of Computer Science & Engineering\, University of Aizu\, Japan and Mr. Thomas Muller\, Senior Vice President [Technical]\, Nestle Lanka PLC. \n \n\nIn parallel to the conference\, there will be sessions covering a wide range of industry-focused Technology Workshops and Special Interest Groups (SIGs). These Technology Workshops are an excellent opportunity to learn more about your field of interest and tap into the knowledge of researchers and industry experts\, learning new topics and trends\, technologies\, solutions\, and strategies for current and future technological issues in your field in a short space of time. SIGs are interactive sessions that facilitate networking and exchanging ideas among researchers and professionals interested in a specific field\, giving individuals a greater voice to share their opinions or perspectives.
