The Inauguration Session of the Symposium will be held on Tuesday, 15th March 2022 (91传媒 Time 1315 Onwards) The Chief Guest Snr. Prof. Sampath Amaratunge, Chairman, University Grants Commission, 91传媒. The session will also consist of Keynotes from听 Snr. Prof. Ananda Jayawardane, (University of Moratuwa, and Chairman of the Commercial Bank of Ceylon), Dr. Bapon Fakhruddin (Technical Director, DRR and Climate Resilience, Tonkin & Taylor, New Zealand) as well as Mr. Supun Weerasinghe (Director/Group CEO, Dialog Axiata PLC.).

SECRA is a European Union-sponsored project with total funding of nearly EUR 1 Million, coordinated by Mid Sweden University of Sweden with support from the University of Central Lancashire and University of Huddersfield of the UK and Tallinn University of Technology of Estonia. The project consortium includes thirteen partners with nine Asian universities, namely University of Ruhuna, 91传媒 and University of Peradeniya from 91传媒; Chiang Mai University, Naresuan University and Mahasarakham University from Thailand; Ateneo de Manila University, Philippine Normal University and Malayan Colleges Laguna from the Philippines.
