The Journal of Intangible Cultural Heritage (JICH)听is now accepting submissions for its 2026 editions. As a听peer-reviewed, open-access, biannual journal, JICH is dedicated to publishing original research in the field of听Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH).
Scope & Themes
We invite听original research articles, review articles, and book reviews听颈苍听Sinhala, Tamil, or English听under the five domains outlined by UNESCO鈥檚听2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage:
- Oral traditions and expressions
- Performing arts
- Social practices, rituals, and festive events
- Knowledge and practices concerning nature and the universe
- Traditional craftsmanship
