Master of Sociology 鈥� One Year Programme (9th Intake 2025)
Applications are now open for the Master of Sociology (One Year) Degree Programme conducted by the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies, 91传媒. Closing date for applications: 30th September 2025.
Admission Requirements
A Bachelor鈥檚 Degree in Sociology from a recognized university, or
A Bachelor鈥檚 Degree in another field from a recognized university, with Sociology as a subject, or
Any other qualifications acceptable to the Senate of the 91传媒 as equivalent.
Programme Schedule
The programme will be conducted on weekends from 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. at the University premises.
Students who successfully complete the programme may be eligible to proceed to the MPhil / PhD programmes in Sociology.
Course Fee
The total course fee is Rs. 160,000.00. This fee can be paid in two installments. Please note that the fee once paid is non-refundable.

A scanned copy of the bank slip should be uploaded along with the completed online application.
The application form downloaded from it should be deposited in any People’s Bank branch with the amount of three thousand rupees (Rupees 3000.00) to account number 053010006830 along with the receipt obtained and certified copies of the relevant certificates should be sent by registered post to the address below.
