M.Sc. / PGDip in Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Management

91传媒 is pleased to announce the commencement of the intake of M.Sc. / PGDip in Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Management for the academic year 2017.

The primary objective of this programme is to generate academically trained highly skilled multidisciplinary professionals to work in the fields of fisheries and aquatic resources in order to address the management challenges of the present day aquatic resources.

Target Group

Managers, Researchers, Scientists, and Academics who are working in the fields of fisheries and aquatic resources in government, non-government and private sector institutions. The course is also suitable for graduates seeking entry to such disciplines.

Course Description

Duration One year for Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) and Two years for Masters degree (M.Sc.)
Medium English
Days and Time Lectures will be conducted during weekends from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
Course Fee Rs. 210,000.00

 

Admission Requirements:

  1. A first degree in Biological Sciences (Zoology, Botany, Forestry, Environmental Science, Microbiology, Marine Science, Fisheries Science, Agriculture).
  2. BVSc. (Veterinary Science), B.Sc. in Chemistry, Food Science, Physical Sciences, Geology, Geography or Oceanography.
  3. Any other degree with at least 3 years of experience in the field of fisheries or aquatic resources.
  4. Any other special qualifications considered appropriate by the University Senate equivalent to a degree recognized by the University Grant Commission with at least 5 years of experience in the fields of fisheries and aquatic resources.

    • Birth certificate (in PDF format)
    • Certified copies of the certificates of Academic / Professional qualification (in PDF format)
    • Bank payment receipt (in PDF format) 鈥� not applicable for Visa or MasterCard payments
    • Documents that certify relevant work experience.听(in PDF format)
